Description Our client, specialising in the Contract Equipment Manufacturing for the electronics industry, is looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals to join them as:
SENIOR PROCUREMENT ENGINEER
Responsibilities :
• Responsible for direct procurement of fabrication / machining parts to support contract equipment manufacturing.
• Evaluate and qualify vendor capability and capacity.
• Spearhead vendor quality and cost reduction programs.
• Responsible for vendor development and support supply chain management activities.
• Familiarity with OEM/standard parts buying also an asset
Requirements :
• Must possess minimum of ITC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant purchasing/procurement background with an appreciation of product/process costing.
• Candidates with machining background preferred
• Possess good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Exposure to Supply Chain Management and Materials Requirement Planning systems.
• Familiar with approach to Value Analysis/Value Engineering to reduce cost of manufacturing
Strictly for Singaporeans and Singapore PRs.
Salary: S$3,500 to S$4,500, depending on experience and qualifications
Candidates with relevant experience with Companies like AIM, Kulicke and Soffa, ASM, Zen Voce, Philips ETG, ELTA, Jurong Hi-Tech,Linear Technologies, ATS Automation, PSB Automation, Pentamaster, Benchmark, Hypertronics, FA System, CEI, IC Equipment, Kinergy, ASTI, ASA Automation, Allegro and other contract equipment manufacturers are highly welcome.
Open also to candidates who had gleaned their experience in other companies such as local sub-con manufacturing houses so long as their skills-sets are matching.
